@ Boathouse 9:30am
(8:45 am at Statue outside of Raymond)
Meet at the Ugly Statue (next to Raymond on Northside) at 8:45am. Varsity rowers will meet you there and take you to the rapid to go downtown to Towercity. Remember to bring your RTA pass with you or money. Don't be late as the trains run only every 15-30 min on the weekend.
At the boathouse you will watch a safety/rowing video, take a tour of the boathouse, talk with coaches, and actually go out on the water in a boat. Remember to wear athletic clothes and not really loose clothing. Bring or wear socks and athletic shoes. It will most likely be hot so bring a water bottle with you too.
If you are driving yourself, you can follow these directions: (Click on View Larger Map for Turn by Turn Directions)
